The Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED VR AF NIKKOR comes equipped with a nine bladed round diaphragm that provides a circular opening even at low apertures and features a standard sized 77mm professional thread for filters and other attachments. The lens is mechanically focused and a switch allows you to toggle between manual and auto-focus modes of operation. The vibration reduction system allows you to use a shutter speed a full three stops beneath
what you would use without a vibration reduction lens. The extra-low
dispersion glass elements offer incredibly crisp and sharp images
and vibrant, bright colours. The internal focusing system of this lens
also means that externally the lens does not change shape or size
