The Vibration reduction system also comes with two modes, normal for standard, everyday use and "active" to be used when taking pictures of subjects that are moving very quickly. The Nikon 200-400mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR NIKKOR also automatically detects when the camera is panning and adjusts it's internal settings to compensate for the movement. 4 Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass elements minimizes chromatic aberration and provides higher resolution and superior contrast and the silent wave motor allows you to focus quickly and quietly with exceptional accuracy.
