This professional level 11.1x zoom lens has a wide number of uses for all occasions, from photographing still life and close up portraits through to taking stunning pictures of the scenery. The 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S VR DX is the perfect lens for "general" use and carrying around to snap any shots as the opportunity may occur. Being able to only carry one lens frees you up when carrying an entire kit bag of lenses may not be appropriate.

The 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S VR DX was the first lens in the industry that was equipped with the VR II system, this allows you to shoot 4 stops lower instead of 3 as in the previous VR system. It features the usual mod-cons that you would expect from Nikon, such as the Silent Wave Motor, unique internal focusing design and also the ED glass and a-spherical lens elements to minimise chromatic abberation and distortion due to things such as lens flare.
