The Nikon 12-24mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S DX is a rather unique ultra-wide angle zoom lens that is equal to 18-36mm in a traditional film format. As it is a member of the DX series it has been designed from the outset to work solely with digital SLR cameras. This lens also contains three high quality elements that work together to minimise distortion at the edges of of the periphery for stunningly high quality images.

The ED-IF AF-S is produced from extra low dispersion glass elements that reduce the effect of chromatic aberration to reduce distortion at higher resolutions and provide bright and well saturated colours. The D-type design allows extremely precise distant information to be passed to the sensor for perfect flash and light exposure settings. This high quality lens is also capable of shooting between 99 and 61 degrees.
